Congratulations to Jana, our Naturopath at our Woree QLD store! Jana is now a qualified Natural Fertility Educator.

Jana will support and help women through all stages of their fertile life, from teen years to perimenopause.

Some helpful facts:

• Sub-fertility is growing in Australia and often women are unaware of the choices available to them before they embark on expensive courses of assisted technology.
• In 2008, a study of Australian women who had been unsuccessful at achieving a pregnancy for more than 1 year found that: 68% reported they timed intercourse in the fertile window But in fact, only 13% did
• Almost all of the women surveyed reported they wanted learn more about their fertility
• Contraceptive medicine can have negative effects on a large amount of women: depression, weight gain and more severley a higher chance of thrombosis and stroke
• Natural Fertility Education teaches women how to identify when they are fertile, and in an objective way, about all the options they have to make an informed choice about how to manage their fertility.

Most women find they need only 3 x half hour session over 3 months to gain the knowledge they need for natural fertility, but combining Jana's Naturopathy skills Jana can also assist with other conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) along with other hormone imbalances which may affect fertility.
