NOVEMBER 2013 - Words of Wisdom with Mario

Hello Club Members,

On the 12^th of this month we officially open the upgrade at Calanna Pharmacy Woree. It has been a 2 year project in planning and building. We are extremely happy with the result and we hope you also will be happy with the extra services we will be able to provide.

There is only about 1.5 metres of front wall and a steel beam above - that is still part of the original Pharmacy building opened in 1976.

Throughout the 9 months of construction - we have had many “customer inconvenient” times. And our team members have had to adjust to these  movements and changes along the way.

I wish to thank each of you for your commitment and your loyal support and for keeping the end product in mind.

Calanna has been known as  a Health destination - A place where focus on the customer takes centre stage - A place where we are able to provide and link each customer to or with the medication, food, complementary medicine or relevant Allied Health practitioner required.

With our expanded area of four consulting rooms and a dedicated Compounding Room – we will be able to       provide more professional services to complement our Sleep Apnea and Naturopathic Clinic.

Each one of us is responsible for our health. We only have one body and we take it everywhere we go. As a        population are generally living longer and many diseases such as Diabetes and Mental Illness are on the rise.  I believe we can prevent them or control them through changes in our lifestyle, exercise, movement, food and fluid intake, nutrients, medications and enjoying what we do.

We are each born for a purpose – to help our community in some way and to be fulfilled in what we do. We need a mindset of optimism, action and learning and we need to build relationships, good social networks and have the ENERGY to do these.

At Calanna we want to help you be “the you - you are meant to be”. We want to help you when you are CROOK and we want to stop you getting CROOK.
