1.
What have you achieved this year?
2.
Did you begin with a list of ‘to do’s’ in
January?
3.
What have you done to expand your friendships,
your business relationships, your community wellness?
4.
Have you taken responsibility for your own
wellness, your own lifestyle and your own health?
I have stated many times – we are all born for a Purpose.
Some look for it and find it and feel the contentment. Others never quite find
it – but in looking they lead a good life. Others never know - because they
never bother to look. I hope you are not one of the latter?
It has been said by John Maxwell:
Great people discuss Ideas -
Average people discuss Events - Small people discuss People.
If we ponder on this quote it is quite true. We all talk
about people – usually about the
mistakes they make or the things they do not do. We all talk about events. I mean what is life if you
cannot discuss and argue about – politics, sport, social issues, education,
other drivers and poor parenting.
Most of this stuff brings out emotions of joy, laughter,
relaxation, humour and builds friendships. But we can also allow these issues
and topics to upset us, to build resentment, to damage our emotional health.
How refreshing it is when we can speak about ideas, of how we can improve ourselves,
our family and our community.
·
There should be a time in all of our days when
we combine people and events with ideas.
·
A time when we allow ourselves the privilege and
the desire to be just a little that bit better.
·
A time to expand our knowledge, our creativity
and our ingenuity.
·
A time to appreciate and to explore the gifts
and talents we were each born with.
·
Being content with who you are
·
Doing the ordinary things in life in the best
way you are able
·
To give of your time, your ideas, your talents
for the betterment of others
·
To serve and not expect to be served
·
Bringing joy, peace and love to those we share
our time.
Take Care………………Mario
